Student admissions are based on an interview with
the child and parents, observations, information learned through
the admissions testing/screening process, and prior scholastic record.
Through these criteria the school seeks to admit children who demonstrate
a likelihood of success within a challenging environment, high moral
character and appropriate social adjustment.
St. Mary's is a family-oriented school and is the primary mission
of the Parish Church. In keeping with the mission statement of
the school and parish, it is the school's desire to reflect, as
best able, the diversity of our larger community. Preference is
given to families who are active members of St. Mary's Church.
Consideration in the admissions process is also given to siblings
of students currently enrolled at St. Mary's School.
It is the expectation of all St. Mary's graduates that they will
continue their academic career in a challenging college preparatory
program at the secondary school of their choice.
Children entering Pre-Kindergarten must have attained the age
of four by September 1 of that academic year (five years of age
for Kindergarten; six years of age for first grade).
St. Mary's Episcopal Day School admits students of any race,
creed, color, national or ethnic origin.
