a rising junior at Sewanee, The University of the South, is one of only seven students selected as a Carey Fellow. This program for business majors will enable him to have a paid internship at a Fortune 500 company during the second semester of his junior year. He was also tapped for the Order of the Gown, Sewanee’s more prestigious honor society.

was the sports editor of the Plant H.S. yearbook and a member of Kiwanettes, S.A.D.D., and in National Honor Society and Beta. Savannah will be a freshman at Florida State next year.
Davis Couch, ’09
graduated from The McCallie School in Chattanooga, Tennessee where he was captain of the Track team. He attained a Silver Medal on the National Spanish Exam, which represents the top 15% of participants. Next year he will attend Sewanee, The University of the South, and will be on their track team.

Among her many honors at Plant H.S., Ashley was selected for the 2013 Hall of Fame and was in National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, National Science Honor Society, Social Studies Honor Society, Beta, and the Order of the Gold and Black. She was named Most Valuable Player on the 2012 Volleyball team and will play volleyball at Emory University.

She has been awarded the Elon Engagement Scholarship to Elon University where she has been accepted into the Communications Fellows program.

St. Mary’s offers ten different sports, which involves 25 different teams for our middle school students, offering multiple athletic opportunities for all students.
