Taylor Russo, ’00
received her B.S. in Commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia and her J.D. and L.L.M. (Master of Law) in Taxation in 2011 from the Georgetown University Law Center. She is an associate at McFarlane Ferguson & McMullen, P.A. in Tampa.
Cassie Kilcoyne, ’02
received her Master in Business Administration from the University of Tampa in December, 2012. Cassie is a three year veteran and captain of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleaders.
Daniel Stefany, ’05
graduated summa cum laude from Wake Forest University this spring with a double major in Philosophy and Politics and International Affairs. He has been awarded a full academic scholarship to attend the University of Virginia School of Law.
Jimmy Robbins, ’07
a rising junior at Sewanee, The University of the South, is one of only seven students selected as a Carey Fellow. This program for business majors will enable him to have a paid internship at a Fortune 500 company during the second semester of his junior year. He was also tapped for the Order of the Gown, Sewanee’s more prestigious honor society.

were named Tribune Scholars by The Tampa Tribune. Parker will attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Lilly Atkinson, ’09
was on the yearbook staff at Plant H.S. and received many honors including National Honor Society, Beta, Mu Alpha Theta, and National English Honor Society. She will be attending the University of Florida.
Savannah Brenner, ’09
was the sports editor of the Plant H.S. yearbook and a member of Kiwanettes, S.A.D.D., and in National Honor Society and Beta. Savannah will be a freshman at Florida State next year.
Davis Couch, ’09
graduated from The McCallie School in Chattanooga, Tennessee where he was captain of the Track team. He attained a Silver Medal on the National Spanish Exam, which represents the top 15% of participants. Next year he will attend Sewanee, The University of the South, and will be on their track team.
Ashley Cozart, ’09
Among her many honors at Plant H.S., Ashley was selected for the 2013 Hall of Fame and was in National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, National Science Honor Society, Social Studies Honor Society, Beta, and the Order of the Gold and Black. She was named Most Valuable Player on the 2012 Volleyball team and will play volleyball at Emory University.

was on the football team at Jesuit H.S. and president of S.A.D.D. He has an academic scholarship to attend Ole Miss.
Berkeley Durrance, ’09
was in Beta, National Honor Society, the Order of the Gold and Black, yearbook editor, and named to the Plant High School Hall of Fame. Berkeley will attend the University of Florida.
Blaire Farrior, ’09
graduated from Plant H.S. where she was in National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, National English Honor Society and the Kiwanette service club. She will be a Florida Gator.
Sam Flagg, ’09
At Plant H.S., Sam played Varsity Basketball, was in National Honor Society, Beta, National English Honor Society, Social Studies Honor Society, and Sertoma service club. Sam is headed for the University of Florida.
Chase Fowler, ’09
was President of the Order of the Gold and Black honor society at Plant H.S., named to the 2013 Hall of Fame, was selected for the Senior Committee and the prom court, and played Varsity Basketball. He will be a freshman at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill next year.

was in the National Honor Society at Jesuit H.S. and will attend the University of Florida.
Jayne Hagan, ’09

received a Capstone Scholarship and Alumni Heritage scholarship from the University of Alabama, where she will be joining her brother, Thomas Lee, ’07, in the fall. At Plant H.S. she was in Beta and the National Honor Society.
Jordan Lockhart, ’09
While at Plant H.S., Jordan was in the National Honor Society, the National English Honor Society, the National Social Studies Honor Society, the Order of the Gold and Black honor society, on the Honor Council and Senior Committee. She has been awarded the Elon Engagement Scholarship to Elon University where she has been accepted into the Communications Fellows program.

graduated from Berkeley Prep where she was in National Honor Society, was an AP Scholar, and captain of the golf team. Emily will attend Columbia University in New York City.

The 2013 Faculty Award, given to the student who, by a vote of the faculty, has shown high ideals, a sense of honor, and a spirit of service to the school, was presented to Gabriel Brown.
The 2013 Headmaster’s Award, given to the student who has best exemplified sustained effort and achievement in studies and outside activities, was presented to Mary Stephen Straske.
St. Mary’s offers ten different sports, which involves 25 different teams for our middle school students, offering multiple athletic opportunities for all students.
