Teaching Positions

Position Title: 2nd Grade Assistant Teacher for 2024 -2025 School Year

Position Description:
St. Mary’s is seeking a 2nd Grade Assistant Teacher for the Primary Division. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position for the 2024-2025 school year. The 2nd Grade Assistant Teacher is responsible for supporting the 2nd grade lead teacher in planning, organizing, and implementing an appropriate instructional program in a 2nd grade learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their potential. The teacher is responsible for creating a positive classroom community and promoting character development. The 2nd Grade Assistant Teacher will be responsible for delivering curriculum to 2nd grade students. The teacher will promote a respectful working environment with his/her assigned lead teacher and across the entire faculty. Work is performed under the supervision of the Primary Division Head and Head of School.  Participation is required in weekly Primary Division teacher meetings as well as full faculty meetings.


Elementary and Middle School Substitute Teachers

Qualifications: Applicants should have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, excellent communication skills, and be highly responsible. Prior teaching experience is preferred.
