Acolytes lead Chapel services on Mondays and Wednesdays
Chapel services are held Monday and Wednesday mornings at 8:15 and are a vital part of our St. Mary’s Episcopal community. Students in 7th grade serve as acolytes in Chapel, leading scripture readings and prayers of the people with the Rector of St. Mary's Church and Chaplain of St. Mary's School. Chapel buddies are assigned at the beginning of the year, pairing older students with younger students. This is a great way for our older students to act as mentors and leaders in the school. Parents are encouraged to attend Chapel services throughout the year as we strive to live out our mission at St. Mary’s School – “Inspiring curiosity, kindness, and dignity in a caring, Christian community.”
