Launched in 2013, the 1:1 iPad program has integrated technology and enhanced learning at St. Mary's for students in 5th-8th grade. Before using the school-owned device, an "iPad Use Agreement" is signed by both students and parents, accepting the school guidelines for appropriate usage of the iPad. Students are responsible for charging their iPads at home and bringing them to school every day.
Google Drive is used by students to store all of their files for school, and students can access their files at any time by logging into their Google Drive account on any internet device.
Pre-Kindergarten through 4th grade have classroom sets of iPads, providing each student with access to this technology. Students love using iPads in class, and teachers have found that students are much more engaged in their learning when they are using technology.
